Welcome to your Full Scottish, live from the YES Bar in Glasgow.

Sunday’s Full Scottish will be fully focused on the EU Referendum. Just this week the show’s hosts and crew came out for REMAIN and this show will look at the positive case for remaining in the EU.

Joining hosts Michelle Rodger and Richard Walker is an entertaining mix of journalists, business people, activists and politicians.

We are delighted to welcome Scottish writer AL Kennedy to the Full Scottish.

She is the author of 17 books and has won awards including the 2007 Costa Book Award and the Austrian State Prize for International Literature.

She is also a dramatist for the stage, radio, TV and film. She is an essayist and regularly reads her work on BBC radio. She occasionally writes and performs one-person shows. She writes for a number of UK and overseas publications and for The Guardian Online.

 

 

Angela Haggerty

Angela Haggerty

Angela Haggerty is a journalist, broadcaster and editor of The Common Space. Her work includes editing the best selling book Downfall: How Rangers FC Self-Destructed, by Phil Mac Giolla Bháin, charting the demise of one of Scotland’s biggest football clubs. She also edited Mac Giolla Bháin’s next book, Minority Reporter: Modern Scotland’s Bad Attitude Towards Her Own Irish, charting the modern-day issues faced by the Irish in Scotland and exposing a culture of anti-Irish racism. Angela received threats following the work, which resulted in a milestone court case for journalism in Scotland.

Rob Henthorn is vice president of the National Union of Students in Scotland.

His focus is on the relationship between education and work, putting the needs of students at the heart of workplace learning. He will also focus on students as workers, fighting for workers’ rights for apprentices and students on vocational courses.

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp is CEO and founder of campaigning business network, Business for Scotland.

Gordon was on the Full Scottish recently talking about the financial and economic benefits to Scotland of remaining in the EU: he has done research which shows that Scotland benefits more than the rest of the UK from EU membership, to the tune of £2bn.

Scotland receives £20 back in return for every £1 spent.

Megan is an upcoming singer songwriter from Edinburgh. Megan recently won the Forth One To Watch competition and was one of the three finalists for this year’s Unsigned Act of the Year at the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards with her song Crazy Perfect.
