We’re proud to serve you another helping of news and views from the Full Scottish team, with a special feature on this weekend’s Pride Glasgow event. Live from the Yesbar at 12.30pm, we’ll be joined by Angela Crawley MP, James Dornan MSP, Kevin McKenna and Cat Boyd, with music from Christy Scott.

Pride Glasgow

Pride Glasgow

Scotland’s largest LGBTI festival takes place this weekend, the incredible Pride Glasgow celebrations, with a massive march through the city centre on Saturday. Pride Glasgow was established in 2004 as Pride Scotia (Glasgow), it became a charity in 2012 and the event has been run every year since. In 2015 they established the Pride Life Programme, aimed at engaging volunteers all year, and in 2016 the Pride Community Project was established, which will manage the Pride Fund and support, develop and engage the LGBTI community in Scotland.

We’ll have a special package from Saturday’s march to share with you.

Returning to join us for the Full Scottish newspaper review are Kevin McKenna and Cat Boyd.

Kevin is a former deputy editor of the Herald and executive editor of the Daily Mail in Scotland and is now a columnist for the Guardian, the Herald and the National newspaper.

Cat is a Scottish trade union activist who was a co-founder of the Radical Independence Campaign and the Scottish Left Project. She was a RISE candidate in the recent Holyrood election and writes a regular column for The National.
